With the needs of our community nearly doubling the last three years, we need your help to grow. The Nourishing Neighbors Today & Tomorrow campaign seeks to raise $3 million (in addition to $3 million in annual support) to help build capacity, enhance infrastructure, increase staff wages, and ensure Beverly Bootstraps’ long-term sustainability.
$550,000: Providing Space to Meet Demand
-Lease and renovate 1,700 sq./ft. of additional building space in the conjoining building ($150,000)
-Update and repair 35 Park St. facility ($400,000)
$1.9 million: Feeding, Housing, Educating & Helping People
-Food Assistance ($600,000): Food Pantry, Food Lockers, Kids Weekend Food, Mobile Market, Senior Bags and Home Delivery programs
-Case Management ($600,000): Rental assistance, government benefit and public housing assistance, heating and utility assistance, and other pressing needs from clients
-Adult Education ($400,000): High School Equivalency, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and College and Career Readiness
-Seasonal Programs ($300,000): Back-to-School Backpacks, Winter Wishes Holiday Gifts and Low-Income Tax Preparation
